Sofia Ribeiro - born on October 2, 1984 in Lisbon, Portugal - is a Portuguese actress and former model. She began her screen career at age 21 with the youth series Morangos com Açúcar. She then appeared in numerous telenovelas, theatre productions, and TV shows. In 2024 she starred as the lead in the soap opera Senhora do Mar on SIC. She survived a breast cancer diagnosis in 2016 and in 2023 became legal guardian for her two nieces.
