Nadja Uhl, born on May 23, 1972, in Stralsund, East Germany, is a German actress known for her versatile performances in film, television, and theater. She studied acting at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy College of Music and Theatre in Leipzig from 1990 to 1994. Uhl began her career at the Hans Otto Theater in Potsdam in 1994. Her breakthrough came in 2000 with the film The Legend of Rita, earning her the Silver Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival. She has since appeared in notable films such as Twin Sisters (2002), Summer in Berlin (2005), and The Baader Meinhof Complex (2008), where she portrayed Brigitte Mohnhaupt.
