Mikalah Gordon is an American singer, comedian, and TV host best known as a Top 12 finalist on Season 4 of American Idol. Born and raised in Las Vegas, she gained national attention for her powerhouse vocals, fearless personality, and standout performances ranging from Billie Holiday to Dusty Springfield—earning a record deal with Idol judge Randy Jackson.

Since Idol, Mikalah has built a multi-platform career across music, television, and comedy. Her credits include CBS’s The Unit, the WB sitcom Living With Fran, American Idol Extra, and hosting roles on CW’s World’s Funniest Animals and World’s Funniest Videos. She released her debut album Vivian in 2022 and previously held a long-running singing residency at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Today, she performs live, headlines top comedy clubs like The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory, hosts the nationally syndicated LGBTQ morning show The Morning Beat, and produces the podcast So Funny It Hurts—spotlighting comedy, trauma, and mental health.
