She studied psychology at the University of Victoria, but left to pursue acting, relocating to Vancouver. Her early screen roles include appearing in Watchmen and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and she has had recurring television parts in series such as Rogue and The Returned. She won a Leo Award in 2017 for Best Supporting Performance.
