Judy Geeson is an English film, stage, and television actress whose career runs from swinging‑’60s classics to cult horror and hit American sitcoms. Born Judith Amanda Geeson in Arundel, Sussex, in 1948 and raised in London, she trained at the Corona Academy and made her first TV appearance at just 12 in “Dixon of Dock Green”. Her breakthrough came as rebellious schoolgirl Pamela Dare opposite Sidney Poitier in the iconic drama “To Sir, with Love” (1967), followed quickly by roles in “Berserk!” with Joan Crawford and the coming‑of‑age comedy “Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush”.

Throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, Geeson became a familiar face on British screens. She was a regular in the BBC soap “The Newcomers” and won fans worldwide as spirited heiress Caroline Penvenen (later Caroline Enys) in the beloved costume drama “Poldark”. On film, she moved effortlessly between genres, from “Prudence and the Pill” (1968) and “Three Into Two Won’t Go” (1969) to the chilling true‑crime drama “10 Rillington Place” (1970), eco‑thriller “Doomwatch” (1972), action outing “Brannigan” (1975) with John Wayne, and war adventure “The Eagle Has Landed” (1976).
