The Penthouse Pet is a model that is chosen by the American men's magazine Penthouse. The first pet of the month was Evelyn Treacher in September 1969. Similar to the Playmate of the month in Playboy, penthouse pet's erotic nude photos appear in the magazine. Often these models are porn stars or nude models who already have experience with erotic photos.
Furthermore, a Penthouse Pet of the Year is chosen each year. The nude pictures of the selected pet do not necessarily have to be published in the same year. One of the best-known adult models is Lexi Belle. The porn star was voted Pet of the Year in 2014.
