Lili Engels, born on February 27, 1997, in Hamburg, Germany, is a German television presenter and sports journalist. She studied sports science and philosophy at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel from 2016 to 2020. During her studies, she completed internships at the Sport-Informations-Dienst and LANS Medicum Hamburg and wrote for the Kieler Nachrichten. After graduation, she interned at Sport1 and Sport Bild. Since September 2023, Engels has been hosting the Frauen-Bundesliga on Sport1 and co-hosting the football magazine "Bolzplatz" with Manu Thiele on ZDF. In 2024, she became a sports editor for the ZDF-Mittagsmagazin.
