Edyta Śliwińska (born May 6, 1981, Warsaw, Poland) is a professional ballroom dancer and choreographer. She moved to the U.S. in 2000, co-founded Genesis DanceSport studios in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and became a five-time U.S. National Latin Finalist. Edyta appeared in all first ten seasons of Dancing with the Stars (2005–2010), the only female pro to do so, with placements including 3rd in Season 3 (with Joey Lawrence) and 2nd in Season 6 (with Jason Taylor). She returned in Season 22 (2016) partnered with Geraldo Rivera. Off-screen, she married fellow pro Alec Mazo on September 1, 2007, and they have two children: son Michael (born 2014) and daughter Leia (born 2017). Edyta has appeared in U.S. commercials, guest-starred in CSI: NY, and produced instructional dance DVDs with her husband.
